Our rental program allows you to work with our customer service representatives to upgrade or expand your telecommunications system without having to purchase the hardware. You simply pay for the installation and rent the equipment for the specific time period that meets your business requirements.

Business Telephone Equipment Leasing Options The acquisition of technology can be complicated. New technology is entering the market at an ever-increasing pace. For growing businesses, choosing a telephone communications system that meets their needs today is difficult, and anticipating what systems they may need tomorrow is nearly impossible. Our North American partner network aligns us with top-tier equipment manufacturers that deliver innovative financing solutions that answer both your technology requirements today and tomorrow.

Leasing solutions allow customers to preserve capital, protect credit lines, reduce the risk of technological obsolescence, and to possibly enjoy significant tax benefits. Access Communications offers highly competitive rates on four lease solutions.

Namely:

  • $1 Purchase Lease* - The $1 Purchase Lease allows the customer to purchase the leased equipment for $1 at the conclusion of the lease agreement, which can have a term from 12 to 72 months in length depending on the customer needs and lease amount.
  • 10% Purchase Lease - The 10% Purchase Lease allows the customer to purchase the leased equipment for 10% of the original price at the conclusion of the lease agreement, which can have a term from 12 to 72 months in length depending on the customer needs and lease amount.
  • Fair Market Value (FMV) Lease - This program traditionally offers the lowest monthly payment, and because ownership is optional, it provides some flexibility to combat technological obsolescence. The FMV Lease allows the customer to return the equipment or acquire it for its fair market value at the end of the lease agreement, which just as other type of lease programs, can have a term from 12 to 72 months in length depending on the customer needs and lease amount.
  • Access Communications Shield® - This program has the same structure as a FMV lease, but with the additional benefits of no waiting period, no financial penalty, and a no-rollover system replacement guarantee**. Access Communications Shield is a unique program that protects customers against changing business conditions and technologies in an uncertain business climate. The old agreement is literally torn up (with no rollover) and a new one issued. There are just three basic conditions:
    • The term of the new agreement must be equal to the original agreement.
    • The new payment must be equal to or greater than the current payment.
    • Access Communications must validate customer's credit worthiness.

*This is referred to as a $10 Out Lease in Canada.
** By selecting Access Communications Shield® or Access Communications Shield® with Maintenance, you may replace your existing system at any time during the contract with no financial penalties or cancellation charges using our System Replacement Guarantee. At the time of system replacement, Access Communications guarantees the rates provided to you will be the same as those offered to other customers acquiring the same system. The existing system must be replaced with: (1) A larger capacity unit; or (2) An equal or larger capacity unit containing newer technology providing additional features and capabilities. The new term must be equal in length to the original term and the new payment must be equal to or greater than the current payment.

Federal Access Communications has access to the Siemens GSA schedule which offers a platform of advantages and value added resources through Siemens. Access Communications has the ability to also leverage other Federal Government Schedules from other major manufacturers that hold GSA Schedules Directly. We also have the ability to leverage both the Schedule 70 (Computer Products) and Schedule 84 (Security Products) contracts through our Distribution Partner agreements.

Access Communications will utilize our distribution partner which has facility in Chantilly, VA (just 36 miles from the heart of the federal government, Washington, D.C). This is a federally focused facility, with an emphasis on maintaining TAA compliant product.

Access Communications Standard Warranty

Technology Refresh Already have a system, but looking for a way to refresh and extend your warranty? We offer the perfect solution to extend the life of your current system! Just send us your in-service, out-of-service, or broken inventory of phones and we'll take care of the rest. They will be tested, repaired, cleaned and sanitized back to their original specifications and then repackaged for return to you with a new coil cord, base cord, faceplates, handset and full warranty.

Specified Warranty Period The "Specified Warranty Period" is (i) twelve (12) months for hardware, beginning on the in-service date for Access Communications installed hardware and (ii) ninety (90) days for software, beginning on the in-service date for Access Communications installed software.

Warranty Procedures & Remedies If a product does not conform to the warranty above, end user shall notify Access Communications within the applicable warranty period, describing how the product failed to be in conformance. Access Communications will (i) repair or replace the nonconforming product, on a “best effort” basis, during normal business hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, excluding Access Communications holidays.

Standard Warranty
The "Specified Warranty Period" is (i) one (1) year for parts & labor, beginning on the in-service date for Access Communications installed hardware. Software warranty is (ii) ninety (90) days, beginning on the in-service date for Access Communications installed software.

NOTE: Customers who also purchase the 3, 4 or 5 Warranty Maintenance Contract will get the standard 1 year warranty, which is parts and labor for each year purchased, and a Maintenance contract discount of 5% of the yearly total, with guaranteed non escalation in cost for the term of Contact selected.

Warranty Policy With Access Communications Maintenance
Access Communications will repair or replace the nonconforming product, in accordance with ALL the maintenance contract benefits, including rapid response times and monitoring (If applicable), during the designated contract coverage hours.

Billing for these extended maintenance benefits are free of charge during the 1 year labor warranty period.

Access Communications can tailor a custom warranty program for your organization's needs. These plans are offered at a lower cost, and can include any of the following:

  • Non-Covered or Excluded Equipment
  • Customer Participation
  • Labor Only
  • Parts Only
